Digital Account Manager

eCity is looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team. Check them out! The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic consultant to our clients to build the digital plan that will achieve their goals and then work with our internal stakeholders to make it all happen. Here is our recent work.

Applicants should be comfortable working independently and have a well-rounded knowledge about digital strategy and marketing, and be able to speak intelligently about user experience (UX), design, and website development.

You will be expected to:

  • Establish productive, strategic, trusted partner relationships with key personnel in assigned client accounts.
  • Represent the “voice of the customer” internally.
  • Proactively assess, clarify and validate key account needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with inbound sales and marketing team to create new pitch materials
  • Attend, participate and win new business as part of the pitch team!
  • Write proposals and work orders
  • Develop production schedules with project managers and other documents to be delivered to our clients
  • Maintain, manage, and report on internal communications and materials regarding individual clients
  • Consistently exceed clients expectations of quality, service, and creativity

Things we’d like to see:

  • 3+ years experience in interactive Account Management position.
  • Creative agency and interactive project management experience
  • Knowledge of web applications and multimedia development
  • Working experience of digital marketing methodologies, strategies and tactics
  • Clear understanding of Internet technologies and their daily use
  • Familiarity with CMS and marketing automation technologies such as Drupal, WordPress, HubSpot and Marketo
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Basecamp (or equivalent), Excel, and Word
  • Strong problem solver with organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and numerous resources with minimal direction

UX Strategist

The Digital Strategist is responsible for understanding segments of users on a personal level and defining innovative strategies to reach them in meaningful ways.

The Digital Strategist performs detailed evaluation of the digital landscape for eCity and our clients, bringing insights from web analytics, social conversations, user interviews and other research. He/she will use those insights to create items such as site audits, competitive analysis, user surveys, focus groups and interviews, user personas, card sorts, usability tests, journey maps, content strategies, and recommendation reports. These deliverables will all be focused on identifying opportunities and discovering unique ways of engaging key audiences.

Those insights and inspirations are brought to the eCity teams to co-create tactics and big ideas. She/he develops, presents and communicates the final digital strategies both internally and externally to clients. As part of those plans, this position recommends tactics, content, and/or functionalities, connecting them to marketing goals.

A key component is understanding customers’ motivations through online and offline channels in order to create content strategies and UI recommendations.

The person in this position will partner with the Creative, Marketing, Technology, and Account Management teams to ensure successful project handoff and that the work is appropriately focussed for long-term success. He/she will contribute to new business pitches and project research/strategy definition and is a frequent key member on pitches and client meetings.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience conducting user research and digital strategies for software, websites, or digital marketing campaigns
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed
  • A portfolio demonstrating your ability to research and create strategy deliverables
  • Strong writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in an agency setting
  • Understanding of common web/software development practices
  • Ability to create and sell digital strategies to senior executives
  • Ability to work locally in Center City Philadelphia
